November 21 Monday Night Boring UpdateWell, it's official...... I'm bored, again.... Lets see, on the plus side I finally put my PS3 on Ebay for auction....but with so many of them on there I doubt anyone is going to buy mine, time will tell. Later this week Rainbow Six: Vegas comes out for the Xbox 360 and is looking to be a GREAT game judging by playing both the singleplayer demo and the new multiplayer demo. I was playing the Multi demo and I was in cover talking to my team-mates when I noticed that my characters mouth was moviing in the game whenever I was talking.....So I took advantage of this by making wierd noises like "ohahhayyyy" just to see my guys mouth move, meanwhile my team knew about the whole thing and I'm looking like a noob going "OMG MY GUYS MOUTH IS MOVIING!" lol.... Ok I saw the movie this evening, and I have to say I was impressed with the new bond....Although it's only because I was going in with little expectations considering every other bond has been Brunette and well a little more clean looking.
The story was quite good with a few nice twists and turns, basically it's MI6 trying to take down the banker of all the worlds evil people. (best way to describe it). The movie did have some poor dialogue in certain areas and suffered slightly because of this.
The opening title sequence (usually a great staple of the bong series) was completly different from EVERY SINGLE OTHER BOND, which annoyed me since I was expecting some half-naked women to be dancing around during it. (a-la Goldeneye) There was a certain roughness that bond was ment to have since this was supposed to be kind-of a prequel to all the other bonds, this is when he first gets double-0 status. There was a few good laughs which I wish I could tell you about, but then it won't be as funny if and when you see it yourself.
To basically sum it up, it deviates from EVERY OTHER Bond film ever, there is no Q or R - so no crazy gadgets.....There is actually a major love story interwoven with the main plot and again this deviates from bond's usual One - Two night stand he's done in the past. Reccommended if you want to pretend like you have never seen another bond film - ever....because it's completly different.
MY SETUP!

In the pics you will see -
50" Samsung DLP TV - Does 720P + 1080i.....Looks great for what it is, and the 360 looks amazing on it.
5 Yamaha speakers - setup below the TV as well as behind where I sit (you won't see the 2 behind in the pics)
Sony 10" Subwoofer - Connected via Monster Cable.
Sony Home Theatre Reciever - Does all my needs, can support up to 7.1, but I only ever use 5.1....DTS is the BOMB (literally shakes my house)
Samsung HDMI Upconverting DVD player - plays my DVD's for me in 720P and I couldn't be happier.
Xbox 360 - Currently connected via Monster Component Cables and Monster Optical Audio, Gears currenty in tray.
You will see a chunk of DVD's on the floor that I have collected over the years....if I had to guess how many, I'd say in the 400's.
Xbox Live Vision Camera - Up atop my TV, pointing where I sit. O la la.
That's about it for tonight everyone, so again keep checking for more updates....more frequently... :-) November 17 Playstation 3 LaunchOk, obviously you all have seen the news and the riots and shootings etc for this so-called Video-Game system.
I don't see what the big deal is...I mean - I have one sitting right here. *looks to his left* The only real thing tempting me into opening the box is the fact that I would get to watch Talladega Nights on Blu Ray before it's even out on DVD which I would love to do. Otherwise I see no point in this system, at least until better games come out (and even of announced games nothing is woooing me).
Someone do me a favor, pay me a crud load of cash and take this heavy (17Lbs roughly) PoS3 off my hands.
Oh in other news - the new James bond movie has opened and is getting GREAT reviews! I plan to see it this Sunday! More updates soon!
